1. No one officer or director shall have the authority to sign any contract or document of any sort on behalf of the Black Forest Community Club. The signatures of at least three members of the board and officers are required to consummate any contract or document, of which two must be board members. The exception to this would apply to daily rentals of the facility, which will be handled by a designated individual. No officer or board member shall sign a contract in which he has a direct personal or pecuniary interest not common to members of the organization.2. On any public issue, the majority vote of the membership in attendance shall rule. The board and officers shall not decide on public issues without a vote of the membership in attendance using the concept of majority rule.
3. The organization shall not endorse any candidate for public office. However, this does not preclude the board and officers from inviting candidates to speak before the organization or as provided for in the duties and responsibilities of the Liaison Section of the Black Forest Land Use Committee.
4. No one except a member shall address this organization, except upon invitation of the board and officers.
5. Members may prepay their dues up to two years in advance at the current membership rates.
6. Interpretation of the By-Laws shall be provided by a By-Laws Committee of more than three members which shall be appointed by the President when any specific dispute arises regarding the By-Laws.
7. No officer or member shall vote on a question in which he has a direct personal or pecuniary interest not common to members of the organization.
